Sony Alpha (mk3)
My second-hand Sony Alpha body, bought at MapCamera in Tokyo.
Ever since I was a wee child, I really liked taking photos more than I liked being taken.
It was also useful for me at the time because many of my friends and co-workers also had similar S-mount camera systems, making it easier to share lenses.
I bought mine at the legendary MapCamera, a place in Tokyo that sells good second-hand camera hardware for cheap. Though my version had the region-locked language setting for the Sony camera, I didn’t mind it as long as I could upgrade to something else in the future.
And who knows, I might end up doing a lot more video gear and switch over to the FX3, or get more serious into photography, but for now, this is enough.
